How to Read the Coordinates

The map uses a pixel-based coordinate system. Higher lat = further north. Higher lng = further east. Approximate map extents: lat 0–3500 (south to north), lng 0–4000 (west to east).

District Adjacencies and Proximity

  • Crowns Approach sits at the top of the city, above Luminous Reach and Stonegate. It curves around the northern bay.
  • Luminous Reach is a walled, prestigious enclave directly below Crowns Approach, bordered by Stonegate to the west and Aurora Song District to the south.
  • Stonegate occupies the upper-centre-left. It borders Crowns Approach (north), Luminous Reach (east), Aurora Song District (south-east), Temple Way (south-west), and Hearthstone (south).
  • Temple Way sits in the northwest of the city, a spiritual and pilgrimage district bordered by Upper Hearthstone (south), Aurora Song District (east), and Stonegate (north-east).
  • Aurora Song District is the large central-right district, bordered by Stonegate (north-west), Temple Way (west), Luminous Reach (north), Spireview (south), and Driftmoor Haven (south-east).
  • Spireview is the large lower-centre district — the administrative and military core. It is surrounded by Hearthstone (west), Aurora Song District (north), and Driftmoor Haven (east).
  • Hearthstone (Upper and Lower) runs down the centre-left, bordered by Stonegate (north), Temple Way (north-west), Spireview (east), and The Spillway (south/west). Upper Hearthstone is the more northerly, walled half; Lower Hearthstone blends into the Spillway to the south.
  • Driftmoor Haven occupies the lower-right and southern shore. It borders Aurora Song District (north), Spireview (west), and opens to the sea (east/south).
  • The Spillway sits at the very bottom of the city, south-west. It is pressed between Hearthstone (north), Spireview (north-east), and Ragmarket (west, outside the walls).
  • Ragmarket is outside the southern wall, west of The Spillway. It has no formal boundary with any district — it simply bleeds into the surrounding land.
  • The Gilded Bastion is on its own island to the north-east, connected to the mainland (Crowns Approach) by a single heavily guarded bridge.

District Descriptions

Crowns Approach

The ceremonial and administrative heart of Aru’Mas. Every detail reflects the power, prestige, and grandeur of the city’s monarchy. At its centre is the Gilded Bastion (royal palace), on its own private island accessible only via the heavily guarded Royal Archway. The Crowns Approach is a district of opulence, reserved for the royal family, high-ranking nobles, and the city’s most celebrated figures. Its streets are immaculate, its buildings draped in gold and fine stone. Commoners are rarely seen here without official business.

Luminous Reach

The most prestigious residential district in Aru’Mas, perched just below Crowns Approach. Synonymous with power, influence, and legacy — it houses the city’s most prominent individuals, from noble families to decorated heroes. Elegant architecture, cobblestone streets, and lush greenery. Home to Arrandak Academy for the Gifted Few, the premier arcane institution in the city. Proximity to Crowns Approach confers enormous social status on residents.

Temple Way

The spiritual heart of Aru’Mas, situated in the northwest of the city. What began as a modest cluster of temples devoted to the Pathite Pantheon has grown into a sprawling, multifaith district where faiths from across the multiverse converge. Dominated by the grand Church of the Threefold Path, but also home to foreign temples, humble shrines, and wandering preachers. A vibrant community of pilgrims, spiritual leaders, artisans, and vendors. Bordered by Upper Hearthstone to the south, Aurora Song District to the east, and Stonegate to the north-east.

Stonegate

A small but cherished district celebrated for its serenity, community, and proximity to the Spiritsway Passage. Primarily residential — modest, well-maintained homes, tightly knit community, strong sense of tradition and quiet dignity. A contrast to the bustle of larger districts. The Spiritsway Passage (the northern gate to the wilds) and the LaCroi Institute of Spiritology are located here. The Roost (Skywarden base) is also in the military sub-area of this district.

Aurora Song District

A kaleidoscope of innovation, artistry, and cultural expression — the most vibrant and dynamic district in Aru’Mas. Every street is alive with colour, sound, and motion. Artisans, inventors, performers, and dreamers converge here. At its heart is the Oasis of Spirits, a lush park. Home to the Graveyard Rift (a gothic tavern), Miss Belliosa Blossom’s Emporium of Exotic Entities, and the Horizon Watch Arena (in or adjacent to this district). The adventuring culture of the city has a strong presence here.

Spireview

The militarised heart of Aru’Mas, defined by discipline, order, and purpose. Headquarters of the Sunspear Legion. Home to the Heartspire — the tallest structure in the city, serving as the administrative and spiritual centre. Galvantis Arms, Armor, and Automatons is located in its industrial area. Residents are a mix of soldiers, administrators, and support staff. Strict and organised — unlike Aurora Song or Driftmoor Haven. The Horizon Watch Arena, described as being “in the heart of the city,” may straddle Aurora Song and Spireview.

Hearthstone (Upper and Lower)

A lively residential district home to a predominantly middle-class population — skilled labourers, artisans, and their families. Historically one district, it was physically divided by the expansion of The Spillway. The Ilderas Public Archive is on the western edge (Upper Hearthstone area). Tarran Finn's home is in Lower Hearthstone. Upper Hearthstone built high walls to seal itself off from the Spillway; Lower Hearthstone declined the walls and blended near-seamlessly into the Spillway’s edges.

Driftmoor Haven

The bustling gateway to Aru’Mas — its primary port and a major hub of commerce, culture, and multiversal exchange. Situated on the southern shore. The first part of the city most visitors encounter. Ships from across the seas and multiversal realms arrive at its docks. The Far-Farewell Market District is a major trading hub within it. Key locations include the Merchants’ Guild Grand Hall, the Many Worlds Pot and Barrel tavern, Kragg’s Menagerie of Marvels, and the Far Farewell Trade Co-op.

The Spillway

The most impoverished of Aru’Mas’s official districts — densely packed around the western gate, where formal city boundaries dissolve into a sprawl of makeshift homes and overburdened infrastructure. Narrow, winding alleyways. Proximity to Ragmarket casts a long shadow. Despite its hardships, the district teems with life and an enduring spirit of hope. The original immigrant overflow that split Hearthstone in two came from here. Lower Hearthstone’s willingness to blend with the Spillway is its defining political characteristic.

Ragmarket

A chaotic, ever-shifting settlement beyond the southern wall — outside the city’s formal jurisdiction. Tents, makeshift shacks, and ramshackle pathways. Traditional laws hold little weight; power belongs to those who enforce their own rules. A haven for the criminal underworld, a refuge for outcasts, and a marketplace for illicit goods and services. Trust is a commodity here.

Spiritsway Passage

At the northernmost point of Aru’Mas — a towering gateway of stone and arcane magic, the sole entrance to the untamed wilds of the Ahvantir Archipelago. Fifty feet tall, formed from obsidian-veined granite covered in runic symbols representing the Old Pacts. Only the Order of the Keystone can open or close it. Adventurers must prove themselves at the Horizon Watch Arena before earning the right to pass. A sacred boundary between civilisation and wild magic.


Order of Harmony Hospitals — Crowns Approach

One of multiple hospital locations across the city. In wealthy districts like Crowns Approach, Order of Harmony hospitals are well-funded and well-staffed. The Order provides free healing to all, regardless of social standing — but quality of care varies substantially by district wealth. Hospitals in affluent areas are state-of-the-art; those in the Spillway and Ragmarket struggle with resources.


Order of Harmony Hospitals — Stonegate

Roost

Coordinates: lat=2830, lng=2630 | District: Stonegate / Military sub-area

One of the most iconic structures in Aru’Mas, second only to the Heartspire. Primary base of operations for the Skywardens — the elite aerial unit of the Sunspear Legion. A sanctuary and proving ground where riders forge bonds with their flying mounts and train in aerial combat, reconnaissance, and city patrols. Its position at the northern edge of the city allows rapid deployment beyond the Spiritsway Passage.


Adventurers Guild Association — Stonegate

Coordinates: lat=2657, lng=2019 | District: Stonegate

One of multiple Association Houses across the city. The AGA organises, certifies, and regulates adventurers operating in Aru’Mas. Overseen by the Guildmasters Assembly. Each district’s House is managed by a Guildmaster. This branch serves the Stonegate district — likely dealing with adventurers seeking to pass through the Spiritsway Passage.


Arrandak Academy

Coordinates: lat=2566, lng=2924 | District: Luminous Reach

The most prestigious institution of higher learning in Aru’Mas, specialising in magical studies, spirit research, and scholarly pursuits. Highly competitive admission — only the most talented, determined, or well-connected gain entry. Situated within the walled enclave of Luminous Reach. Its faculty are drawn from across Ahvantir and beyond. Distinct from the LaCroi Institute — Arrandak focuses on spellcraft and arcane training; LaCroi focuses on scientific spiritology.


Adventurers Guild Association — Luminous Reach

Coordinates: lat=2557, lng=3100 | District: Luminous Reach

AGA branch serving Luminous Reach. Given the district’s elite character, this branch likely handles high-status contracts and prestigious commissions.


The LaCroi Institute of Spiritology

Coordinates: lat=2523, lng=2419 | District: Stonegate

Named after the Giff scientist Erand Frond Marsad Pinkerton LaCroi. Dedicated to the scientific study of spirits, their behaviours, and their interactions with the natural world. Unlike Arrandak Academy, it emphasises empirical research over spellcraft. One of the few institutions in Aru’Mas approaching spirits from a naturalist rather than arcane or religious perspective. Located in Stonegate — near the Spiritsway Passage, which makes it convenient for field study of spirits beyond the city walls.


Order of Harmony Hospitals — Luminous Reach / Driftmoor area

Coordinates: lat=2436, lng=3785 | District: Crowns Approach or eastern area

Hospital branch in the affluent north-eastern area of the city.


Horizon Watch Arena

Coordinates: lat=2320, lng=3109 | District: Luminous Reach / Aurora Song border

A renowned proving ground and entertainment venue managed by the Adventurers’ Guild. Aspiring adventurers test their skills here; fierce creatures captured beyond the city walls are displayed; citizens gather for exhibitions of combat and survival. Colossal structure of enchanted stone reinforced with arcane wards. Oval shape with tiered seating for up to 10,000 spectators. Magical wards contain even the most dangerous combatants. Passing the Arena’s trials is required to earn the right to pass through the Spiritsway Passage.


Order of Harmony Hospitals — Hearthstone/Upper area

Hospital serving the western residential areas of the city.


Miss Belliosa Blossom’s Emporium of Exotic Entities

Coordinates: lat=2024, lng=2738 | District: Aurora Song District

A renowned pet shop specialising in rare, unusual, and sometimes dangerous creatures. Famous for its immersive atmosphere and strict adoption process — prospective buyers are evaluated before being entrusted with a creature. Many of its offerings are not native to the Material Plane, raising questions about Miss Blossom’s procurement methods. Proprietor: Miss Belliosa Blossom, a Blossomling. Contrasts directly with Kragg’s Menagerie — the Emporium values ethics and compatibility; Kragg’s values profit and availability.


Adventurers Guild Association — Hearthstone

Coordinates: lat=1982, lng=1341 | District: Upper Hearthstone

Per the WA source, the Hearthstone Association House is located in Upper Hearthstone, where it serves as a training ground for adventurers specialising in urban security and civil defense. Its proximity to the city’s wealthier districts means it frequently receives contracts for noble protection and high-risk investigations.


Graveyard Rift

Coordinates: lat=1939, lng=1651 | District: Aurora Song District

An anomaly within the vibrant Aurora Song District — gothic where the rest of the district is colourful, shadowed where the rest is lit. Gothic architecture adorned with bone motifs and spectral lanterns flickering blue-green. The entrance leads through a small courtyard lined with mausoleum-style alcoves. Inside: dimly lit, deep purples and blacks, soft candlelight. Proprietor: Ilvera Solace, master of necromantic artistry. A refuge for those who walk the line between life and death — philosophers, undead-adjacent adventurers, and the melancholic.

The Gilded Bastion

Formidable magical wards shield it from mortal and arcane threats. Accessible only via the Royal Archway.


Adventurers Guild Association — Aurora Song District

AGA branch serving the Aurora Song District. Likely handles contracts related to creature recovery, artistic security, and the culturally diverse district population.


Adventurers Guild Association — Hearthstone (Lower) / Spillway border

AGA branch in the western lower area of the city. Given Lower Hearthstone’s blending with the Spillway, this branch likely serves a working-class and immigrant clientele.

Ilderas Public Archive

On the western edge of Aru’Mas, established centuries ago by the Ilderas royal family. Both a public library and a revered institution preserving history, culture, and magical knowledge — books, manuscripts, scrolls, and artifacts. The main collection is freely accessible to citizens and travellers alike. Restricted sections require special permission to enter. A rare institution in that it is open to all regardless of class or origin.


The Abode of Tarran Finn

Coordinates: lat=1340, lng=1066 | District: Lower Hearthstone

A modest but well-appointed dwelling on a quiet cobblestone lane. Stone and timber construction softened by creeping ivy and a small flower bed. A weathered sign above the door bears a hand-carved compass and bow. Tarran Finn is a seasoned adventurer and mentor, a respected figure in the city’s adventuring community — known for guiding rookies new to Aru’Mas. Despite his experience, he has deliberately avoided fame. His address being in Lower Hearthstone says something about his character and values.


Far Farewell Trade Co-op

Coordinates: lat=1261, lng=3252 | District: Driftmoor Haven (Far-Farewell Market District)

Located in the Far-Farewell Market District sub-area of Driftmoor Haven. A trading cooperative — likely a co-operatively owned trading concern operating out of the busy market district that serves as the commercial heart of the port.


Many Worlds Pot and Barrel

Coordinates: lat=1176, lng=2808 | District: Driftmoor Haven (Far-Farewell Market District)

A vast, open-air tavern in the Far-Farewell Market District known for its warm welcome, abundant seating, and the massive cookpot and grill at its centre. Galvantis Arms, Armor, and Automatons

Coordinates: lat=1128, lng=1496 | District: Spireview (industrial heart)

A technological and cultural marvel — a towering foundry of blackened steel and glowing forges, with a constant hum of machinery. Warforged staff serve as both creators and caretakers, blending mechanical precision with artisanal craftsmanship. Produces weapons and armour of unparalleled quality, integrating unique alloys and magical enhancements. Sought after by the city’s military and the Order of Valor. The integration of Warforged workers into the foundry’s operations makes it a living example of the city’s relationship with constructed beings.


Heartspire

Coordinates: lat=1116, lng=1793 | District: Spireview (central)

The tallest structure in Aru’Mas and the administrative and spiritual heart of the city. Separate from the royal palace. Serves as the centre of government, arcane research, and spiritual rituals that uphold the Old Pacts. Rising high above the city — a symbol of power and a beacon of unity. Its position at the core of Spireview makes it the effective centre of the city’s geography. The Spiritsway Passage to the north and the Heartspire in the centre form the city’s main north-south axis.

AGA branch serving Spireview. Given the district’s military character, this branch likely coordinates with the Sunspear Legion and handles official city-sanctioned adventuring contracts.


Order of Harmony Hospitals — Driftmoor Haven

Hospital in the port district. Given the high traffic of travellers and sailors, this branch likely handles a diverse range of injuries and illnesses from across the multiverse.


Adventurers Guild Association — Driftmoor Haven

AGA branch at the port. Likely the first AGA contact point for adventurers newly arrived at Aru’Mas — a natural intake and registration point.


Merchants Guild Grand Hall

Coordinates: lat=620, lng=2580 | District: Driftmoor Haven

The beating heart of commerce in Aru’Mas. A grand edifice serving as both the seat of economic governance and a meeting ground for the wealthiest and most influential traders. Domed ceilings adorned with opulent architecture. One of the three pillars of the city’s government — rivals even the monarchy in political influence. Located in Driftmoor Haven, the port district, which is appropriate for an institution that controls trade.


Kragg’s Menagerie of Marvels

One of the largest and most controversial exotic creature shops in Aru’Mas. Situated in Driftmoor Haven. Unlike Miss Belliosa Blossom’s Emporium, Kragg’s prioritises profit, spectacle, and sheer availability over ethics — the preferred choice for those seeking powerful creatures without compatibility screening. Offers everything from rare magical animals to war beasts bred for combat. The ethical contrast between the two shops is deliberate and well-known among the city’s adventuring community.


Order of Harmony Hospitals — Spillway / Southern

Coordinates: lat=268, lng=1599 | District: The Spillway or Ragmarket border

The southernmost hospital on the map — in the poorest, most under-resourced area of the city. The Order’s commitment to free healing for all is most strained here, where resources are thinnest and need is greatest. This is the hospital most likely to be overcrowded and underfunded, contrasting sharply with the same institution’s branches in Crowns Approach.
